But sanctify Christ as Lord in your hearts,
always being ready to make a defense to everyone who asks you to
give an account for the hope that is in you, yet with gentleness
and reverence - 1 Peter 3:15
Millennium Coming in 2043!
No, the Jehovah's Witnesses are NOT predicting another date for the end of the world, but this was so similar to the JWs I wanted to share it with you.

The complete sign says, "The Millennium Coming in 2043!
This photo is from the Del Mar Fair, a booth just 3 or 4 booths from ours in the Pavilion. I spoke with this elderly man for 15 or 20 minutes. I had the idea before speaking with this man (who was the only one all day in the booth) that this group may be related to the JWs, which is correct. The group has been at the fair for many years I was told. They adhere to many or all of Charles Russell's (founder of Watchtower Bible and Tract Society) teachings, as well as some Seventh- Day Adventists teachings. This groups official title is "Faithbuilders Fellowship" which is linked to a larger international group called "The Bible Student Fellowship" which has its roots in Dawn Bible Students.
He claimed that Russell's prophecies were correct they just needed refining. HUH!!!
I steered the conversation to the deity of Christ. They likewise believe Jesus is a created angel named Michael.
They used the same verses to prove Jesus was inferior to God as the JWs. I attempted to push Thomas calling Jesus "Ho Theos" (the God) John 20:28 and Colossians 1:16-17 which describes Jesus Deity.
Space will not permit but suffice to say this man had incredible KNOWLEDGE but little WISDOM.
II Peter 3:15 says they "wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, to their own destruction."
As I left the booth I left him with the comment, "You have missed the very heart of the Bible message, the gospel, and replaced it with a date that can save no man. You follow another Jesus who cannot rescue you. Seek Him while there is time."
